We are so excited to be heading back to work! We want you to know that things will be a little different for a while.


Here’s what you need to know:

The first appointments will be offered to the people who had appointments canceled in March, then April, then May. Each staff member will handle their own booking and will reach out to you individually. Online Booking is not available. Your service provider will be handling all scheduling. We need to schedule appointments a little differently to allow for the new sanitation protocol (also most of you don’t need the same maintenance appointment that was originally canceled.)

Masks are required for all clients and staff. Please arrive for your appointment with a mask that is held on with ear loops. Salon workers are considered “high risk” for exposure and we have additional safety protocols to follow.

Staff will be screened for health each workday. If they have any of the following symptoms they will stay home and seek testing.

If you have any of these symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule. You will fill out a health and exposure questionnaire before your visit. (Look for the link in your confirmation email or contact your staff member if you can’t find it.) If you become symptomatic within two weeks after your visit, you are asked to notify the salon.

  • fever
  • cough
  • shortness of breath
  • fatigue
  • muscle aches
  • new loss of taste or smell

Our waiting area is closed. When you arrive for your appointment, please text your stylist (they will give you the number when they schedule your appointment.) They will tell you when you may enter. You can wait in your car or in the second-floor hallway (where it’s quite easy to maintain distance from others.)

Before entering the salon, you will be asked to wash your hands in the hallway restroom. We will open the door for you.

We are severely restricted on how many people can be in the salon at a time. This means that you won’t be able to bring anyone with you to your appointment.

Some services may not be offered at this time.

No beverages or magazines will be offered.

We’ve been talking to stylists in other locations to get an idea of what to expect when we reopen, and they all say two things:

  1. Everything is going to take longer and be harder than usual. Budget some extra time and money for your first visit. We’ll see how it goes from there.
  2. It’s hot in all that protective gear! Don’t be surprised if we look a little flushed and if our makeup has melted away. (We may have forgotten how to put it on after all this time, anyway!)

We will have hand sanitizer available throughout the salon.

We will not be able to use all of our shampoo bowls to allow for social distancing, and while in the shampoo bowl, clients will have a towel placed over their faces. (This sounds weird, but we do it all the time when we rinse perms to keep the spray off faces and it’s not in any way unpleasant.)
